Job Description Idaho Laboratory is hiring a Supplier of Quality Audit Manager to work in our Environment, Safety, Health and Quality department. Our team works a 9×80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls, Idaho facility with every other Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position. You will report to the Senior Manager of Quality Procurement and Construction. You will oversee the Supplier Quality Assurance program, including managing personnel, budgets, and ensuring the effectiveness of quality processes. You will lead meetings, make decisions on supplier evaluations, address corrective actions, maintain the Qualified Suppliers list, and ensure compliance with program procedures Responsibilities Include:
  • Review supplier evaluation request to determine correct evaluation scope and method and assign Lead Auditor (LA).
  • Review and approve supplier evaluation documentation.
  • Help secure resource support from other organizations.
  • Help customers understand the logistics and scope of supplier evaluations.
  • Support ongoing effort to improve current processes/applications and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Own and manage Qualified Supplier List.
  • Perform Supplier Quality Audits.
  • Provide input for budget schedules, and performance standards for the organizational unit.
  • Receive assignments based on defined processes.
  • Help develop overall objectives and long-term goals of the business unit.
  • Recommend changes to sub-unit, unit, or discipline policies.
  • Interact with functional peer groups. Interaction requires interpreting and explaining information to audiences familiar with the subject.
  • Gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

  • Total of 12 years’ experience
  • 6 years’ experience in Management Experience in Quality
  • 6 years’ experience in performance of Supplier Audits/Surveys
  • Experience in Codes and Standards such as ASME NQA-1, ISO-9001, ISO-17025
  • Current or previously NQA-1 Lead Auditor
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “L” clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Job Information

  • The target pay range for this position is ($100,540 – $155,973) annually. The full pay range is ($89,652 – $215,160) . At Idaho Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
