Sr. Engineer – Energy Storage (Erie, PA)

Job Description:
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for developing our next generation of Energy Storage products for locomotive and mining applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in electromechanical systems and/or battery packaging. This engineer will work with other subsystems and systems, develop requirements, provide system level packaging solutions and safety strategies. This Engineer will also collaborate with customer facing and sourcing teams to develop a roadmap for future battery technologies, services, and reliability support strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Must be:
  • Mechanical Engineering
    • Mechanical engineers with understanding of electrical concepts
    • Electro-Mechanical background
  • Mechatronic Engineering
• Someone who understands Industrial Standards, regulations, and how to apply them
• Senior Level Technical Leadership
  • C-Suite Presence
  • Product Experience (still hands-on role)
    • Industrial, electrical, power grid, substations
  • Cross functional capabilities: control team, electrical team, mechanical team, design team, etc. 
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on design experience in Energy Storage and Packaging
  • Battery Expertise or Fuel Cells, EV, etc.

• • Not tied to any in particular but they use NX, CAD

This role is also eligible for a performance bonus. Relocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.
