The Senior Counsel position is responsible for advising Energy Solutions on a broad range of legal matters, under the direction of the General Counsel. These may include general corporate matters; monitoring and advising the company about legal and regulatory developments impacting the company; advising on intellectual property issues; advising on legal requirements applicable to new product offerings and new lines of business; drafting legal documents; reviewing agreements and advising on contractual relationships with customers, business partners, subcontractors, and vendors; providing oversight with respect to internal compliance functions; managing outside legal counsel; and other matters. As many of the company’s core clients are governmental entities or utilities, experience in and knowledge of administrative, energy, or utility law would be helpful. Since many of the company’s product offerings relate to renewable energy, energy conservation, and electrification programs, experience in these areas would also be a plus.
The Senior Counsel is expected to be a high-performing self-starter who has a keen eye for detail, fosters a collaborative environment and is motivated to establish and improve legal policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney to be at the forefront of decarbonizing the energy sector with a growing and dynamic company.

Compensation is commensurate with experience with the pay band of $145,000 – $180,000 / Annually
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
