Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role is a 1099 position, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, guiding them through the sales process, and helping them make informed decisions regarding their energy needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
– Engage with potential customers through various channels, including door-to-door outreach and community events.
– Conduct thorough assessments of customer energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions.
– Present and explain the benefits of solar energy systems to prospective clients.
– Utilize Salesforce or similar software to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain customer relationships.
– Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
– Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings to effectively address customer inquiries.
– Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for increasing market penetration and achieving sales targets.
Skills
– Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, to better serve diverse communities.
– Proven experience in solar sales or energy sales is highly desirable.
– Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer interactions.
– Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
– Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the company and customers.
– Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to clients of varying backgrounds.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
