Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Sales Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for training SunSmart Engineering accounts on how to effectively sell solar energy systems to homeowners. You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip sales teams with the skills and knowledge needed to confidently promote and close solar sales. This position plays a critical role in helping our partners grow their businesses and expand the reach of solar energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs focused on solar PV sales, tailored to the needs of new installation companies.
  • Educate sales teams on the benefits of solar energy, financing options, and effective sales techniques.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to improve sales performance.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support ongoing learning.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements based on feedback and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and best practices in solar sales.
  • Provide ongoing support to sales teams post-training, offering guidance and answering questions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in solar PV sales, with a strong track record of success.
  • Previous experience in training, coaching, or mentoring sales teams, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong understanding of solar technology, financing options, and the residential solar market.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective training materials and programs.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to conduct training sessions.
