Allen & York are thrilled to be working with an award winning electrical and solar installer, operating in the new build housing sector. Working in partnership with the UK’s leading house developers, this is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing and motivated team as the solar offering rolls out across the UK.

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Solar PV Installation Manager to manage the dedicated solar PV installers operating on sites within the South, Midlands and surrounding Counties.

You’ll have extensive solar PV installation and electrical industry experience, including a good understanding of the wiring systems used in new homes. A talented line manager, you’ll have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. With a flexible attitude to working hours, including overnight stays as required, you’ll enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across other teams and ensure excellent standards are maintained across all installations.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence for this role.

It would be advantageous for this role if you held a City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing), 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safely and are qualified as an electrician to NVQ3 level.
