Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location(s): Mansfield, MA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (Saturdays may be required), 1st shift

What will you be doing on a daily basis?

• Complete preliminary and final code-compliant solar PV designs for residential projects as per Summits best practices
• Upload the design simulation analysis to the sales-facing CRM
• Ensure the preliminary and the final designs are completed promptly to meet the team and organizational goals
• Assist in preliminary CAD drawings and Asbuits for permitting and interconnection
• Use design software for preliminary and final designs
• Coordinate with your supervisor to ensure quality and TAT is as per Summits standards
• Communicate with the solar guides (sales reps) on design changes or if you need more information to complete the design
• The design work queue needs to be cleared by the end of the shift
• QC and QA the CADs
• Close the feedback loop with the design and CAD team
• Work closely with the Engineering Team Lead to execute departmental and organizational goals as assigned

What is needed to be successful?

• Excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to present in weekly CAD meetings
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Staying up to date on local, state, and federal codes related solar PV
• Self motivated, detailed oriented, and problem solving skills
