Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

  • Prepare all technical inputs for the project financial model, such as performance estimations, EPC capital costs, operating and maintenance charges, and operational capital expenditures.
  • Develop all technical inputs and support field walk requirements in support of a project’s construction.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of several OEMs, engage with the AP construction team and make suggestions to the Project Manager on the technologies to be used for the project.
  • Provide general support to the Construction Manager for all technical difficulties that emerge throughout the construction phase of a project.
  • Assist the Director of Solar Construction and the SVP of Engineering and Construction in the development of all technical contracts
  • Assist the Permitting Manager with technical support for the essential project permits.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify all feasible solutions for project infrastructure

Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering from a recognized institution
  • 3+ years of experience with the development and design of large-scale solar plants
  • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
