Solar Advocate/Entry Solar Sales

Position Title: Solar Advocate

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Status: Non-exempt

Location: Front Range, Colorado

Apollo Energys main goal is to educate homeowners on the benefits of switching to solar. The Solar Advocate Position is Apollo Energys entry level sales position. Solar Advocates canvass door-to-door to meet homeowners and explain the benefits of switching to solar. The Solar Advocate collects information vital for our engineers to customize each solar electric system. All information is put into Apollo Energys CRM. All Apollo Energy Representatives are expected to act with a friendly, customer service minded attitude, and will conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Apollo Energy is unique in the solar industry. We do not subcontract, we have only positive customer reviews, and we have existed for over 8 years in a volatile industry. The Solar Advocate will receive solar industry training and sales technique training. Successful Solar Advocates have the opportunity to become Solar Consultants after 6 months. This position may require the employee to perform all, but not limited to, the tasks listed below.

Responsibilities

*Communicate to homeowners about the benefits and cost savings when switching to solar energy *Generate phone and onsite leads via door-to-door sales and canvassing *Generate phone and onsite leads via events, expos, or trade shows *Schedule homeowners for a free solar assessment that demonstrates Apollo Energys solar energy product *Collect kilowatt usage with customers while setting a phone or onsite appointment *Input lead information into designated system within 24 hours of receipt of lead information *Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

*Outgoing and friendly *A desire to help people and make a positive impact on the world *Strong sales ability or willingness to learn *Drive to have positive and productive conversations *Previous canvassing experience, a plus

*Cell phone *Reliable transportation *Able to walk/stand for 4+ hours at a time

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Mondays. Compensation is $25.00 – $50.00/hour.
