Carter Maddox are working closely with one of the leading BESS manufacturers who are looking to grow their US sales team. We are searching for a highly skilled profile with direct experience in BESS sales at the utility scale.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage the full sales cycle for utility scale BESS, including lead generation, closing sales, securing and developing accounts.
- Attend regional and national trade events in order to increase brand awareness, communicate with existing clients, and prospect new ones.
- Target with major utilities, developers, IPPs, and EPCs.
- Collet market information and conduct market research to inform strategic direction with regards to sales strategies and goal-making.
- Support the product marketing strategy by providing actionable information from in-the-field experience.
- Work as a part of a wider utility-scale sales team in order to drive revenue growth and market share for the company.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct sales experience within the BESS hardware space
- Active connections within potential sales targets
- Comprehensive understanding of the utility-scale BESS industry
- Technical understanding of BESS and ability to conduct technical conversations with prospective clients is preferred
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Ability to travel as is necessary in order to hit targets
