About the role:

The primary role of the Senior Procurement Manager is to develop and maintain advanced category strategies in collaboration with business unit stakeholders, focusing on indirect spend categories related to renewable energy, regeneration, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced category strategies in collaboration with business unit stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative approaches to strategic procurement by using analytics and processes to assess the scenarios, benefits, risks, and change management impact of each option.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with business unit stakeholders and access market intelligence to prioritize opportunities based on facts.
  • Develop and execute complex negotiation strategies with suppliers.
  • Help manage supplier relationships and promote continuous improvement in cost savings, quality, and risk management.
  • Respond to escalated questions or concerns related to strategic procurement policies, processes and decisions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

  • Ability to work as part of a global team and collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries.
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, renewable energy, sustainability or regeneration.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and influence skills.

  • Ability to develop authentic and meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
  • High performance standards and accountability.

Language proficiency: English proficiency required at 80% as most activities will be conducted in English.

Technical requirements:

  • SAP
  • Ariba Cirtuo (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of interactive auctions or e-Auctions (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Category Strategy (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of SRM and SPM Coupa (Preferred)

Salary range and compensation package:

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $180,000.00.
