Senior Development Manager

Job Summary:

Join a leading company in clean energy as a Senior Development Engineering Manager within their Renewable & Clean Power team. You’ll be a key player in developing utility-scale solar, onshore wind, and battery storage projects across the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential sites and provide technical feasibility recommendations.
• Create preliminary layouts, optimize system configurations, and develop energy yield assessments.
• Provide technical inputs for financial models, including energy production forecasts and cost estimates.
• Oversee technical consultants for environmental, permitting, and engineering needs.
• Support project acquisitions by reviewing data and coordinating technical evaluations.
• Manage the Independent Engineer process during financial close and ensure report delivery.
• Lead technical discussions with landowners, officials, and potential off takers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in infrastructure and renewable energy design, with a focus on solar and wind.
• Experience working with developers or independent power producers (IPPs).
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ArcGIS, PVSyst, pvDesign, and PVCase preferred.
