Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door to door canvassing in assigned territories to identify potential customers for solar energy solutions
  • Build relationships with potential customers and provide educational presentations on the benefits of solar energy
  • Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities, including determining customer needs and goals
  • Sell solar energy solutions to homeowners including explaining the benefits and features of our products
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and goals
  • Utilize a reliable vehicle to travel to assigned territories and conduct sales activities
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and strategies
  • Stay UpToDate on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity

Requirements:

  • 12 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Comfortable with rejection and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent travel to remote locations
