Job Description

Piper Maddox has been engaged on a confidential search by one the world’s largest multinational organizations. This opportunity is with their US-based division which was founded over 80 years ago. This organization has been involved in Utility Scale Solar and Wind project development, construction, and operation since 2007.

They are now looking to break into the EV Charging infrastructure and solutions space alongside solar, wind and hydro and are now looking to expand this group.

They are currently looking for a Sales Director. This person will be a critical part of their organization and a leader on the commercial side of the business to expand and develop existing relationships with EV charging suppliers.

This opportunity will report directly to the head of the group and will be leading on the sales activities as well as having critical input into developing a business model for expanding in the US & Canadian market.

They are looking for individuals that have previously sold within the EV charging industry and have a drive to support on strategy and business development.

There is huge growth potential in this role to grow out a team below, as the market coverage grows.

This role will will be remote, with travel to client meetings as and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Develop new customers relationships, maintain and expand upon existing ones.
  • Supporting RFI, RFP requests for large-scale EV charging projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience selling in the EV charging industry
  • Sales experience in the US & Canada.
  • Proven abilities in closing deals.
  • Ability to develop and implement a strong sales strategy.
  • Strong relationship/rapport building skills.
