In this fully remote role, you’ll be part of our growing Energy Storage Project Development Team. You will collaborate with leaders across departments on strategic real estate initiatives including land development, acquisition, due diligence, and execution nationwide. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of renewable energy by optimizing land operations and document controls.
What You’ll Do
Optimize Documentation Processes: Lead the enhancement of real estate land documentation, focusing on key financial obligations across our battery storage portfolio.
Support Land Acquisition: Act as a vital stakeholder in real estate acquisitions, supporting landowner relations and due diligence efforts.
Enhance Site Control Documentation: Work cross-functionally to streamline the documentation process, including title and survey needs.
Manage Real Estate Databases: Oversee the management of our real estate database, including milestone tracking, budgeting, and reporting on property-related financial commitments.
What We’re Looking For
Real Estate Expertise: Proven experience in developing and managing real estate site control and documentation processes.
Project Management Skills: Strong ability to monitor project deadlines, obligations, and milestones with a project management mindset.
Renewable Energy Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable energy land administration protocols and data management systems.
Data Management: Extensive experience in organizing and managing internal data resources and software.
Legal and Commercial Understanding: Ability to interpret legal and commercial obligations in real estate documents.
Negotiation Skills: Strong background in land negotiations and managing large commercial real estate transactions.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ALTA surveys, title reports, mineral right evaluations, leases, purchase options, land permitting, and site control initiatives.
Renewable Energy Development: Knowledge of the utility-scale renewables process, including solar PV, battery storage, and wind, across various project stages (permitting, PPA negotiations, etc.).
