Location
This position is fully remote, with an option for a hybrid work schedule that encourages two in-office days each week for team members residing near our offices in New York City or Buffalo.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling and investment screening to evaluate renewable energy portfolios for acquisition opportunities, including building discounted cash flow models and identifying associated risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team to engage with project developers and sellers effectively.
- Assist the deal manager with the acquisition process by preparing for seller meetings, updating and auditing portfolio models, performing due diligence, coordinating with third-party advisors, and preparing investment committee materials.
- Support the investment team in revenue research and optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the capital markets team by developing marketing materials, models, and responding to inquiries for tax equity and debt financing.
- Participate in special projects across various business verticals as required.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in constructing and refining Excel-based financial models, including financial statement models and valuations (LBO/DCF).

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
- 2-4 years of pertinent experience in renewable energy acquisitions and financing or related fields, including internships or co-op experiences.
- Experience in coordinating complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders and advisors is essential.
- Preferred experience includes conducting asset due diligence and auditing financial models to ensure accuracy. Understanding Tax Equity’s role in the renewable energy capital stack is a plus, as is experience with solar and battery storage.
