The Regional Consultant Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for of Regional Consultant to be responsible for generating and closing solar sales. The Regional Consultant will help meet sales goals and monitor performance of their sales team.

Regional Consultant Responsibilities

  • Responds to Solar leads
  • Canvassing for Solar leads in assigned territories
  • Qualifying Prospects for Solar
  • Generates demand and appointments in Solar sales
  • Designs and Prices Solar/Storage systems
  • Guides customers through contract signing and the post-sale journey
  • Monthly Sales Quota: 10 Sales

Minimum Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • 2-4 years’ related Sales experience
  • Bilingual

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in residential solar sales is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Accurate Data Entry and Management
  • Ability to go door to door to educate homeowners
  • Great In-person and over-the-phone Sales Conversation Skills, such as actively listening and feel/felt/found objection handling
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Solar and Battery Design knowledge
  • Accurately Forecasting Business on Monthly Cadence

Working Conditions

  • Open-office environment and/or Remote-office environment
  • Estimated travel time: 90%
  • Driving Required: Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to go to customers’ homes and conduct consultation and perform site assessments.
