General Job Description
The R&D Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the production development activities of the company. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and teamwork to ensure successful product development and production processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Product Development
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to develop new production methods and techniques.
- Conduct trials and tests to validate new production processes and equipment.
- Evaluate and optimize existing production processes for efficiency and quality improvement.
2. Project Management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production development projects.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
3. Technical Support
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
4.Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze testing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on development performance, project status, and recommendations for improvement.
5.Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in production development.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and performance.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production development or related role.
- Strong technical skills with knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred/Desired:
- Experience working in solar module, encapsulant, and backsheet companies and other solar material company.
- Need to be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuously improving environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other.
- Have a strong desire for personal and professional development.
- Experience working in the chemical industry, as a development manager, or as an AS or TS worker.
