QA/QC Manager Position:
As the QA/QC Supervisor of Morrow Process Solutions, you evaluate product and workmanship requirements, review designs, and blueprint specifications to assure on-time delivery of our fabricated structures, vessels, and packages. You are a quality expert with ASME welding experience and have a proven track record of being hands on and maintaining ASME quality management systems.
You will spearhead the successful implementation of Morrow Process Solutions Quality Control program.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and maintain the quality management system and procedures for the Manufacturing Business Unit.
- Represent the organization and participate in ASME Stamp certification reviews.
- Monitor weld procedures or ASME code requirements, to verify compliance with company, customer, and code specifications.
- Perform visual & mechanical inspection of products according to code, Morrow Renewables specifications, and/or customer specifications. Primarily ensuring Morrow is following B31.3 process piping code.
- Maintain compliance with ASME weld procedures and train appropriate manufacturing staff in QC measurements, weld procedures, and all other ASME documentation requirements.
- Maintain all quality records.
- Collect and maintain quality documents such as weld logs, xray data, nonconformance reports, and other.
- Conduct offsite inspections for outsourced equipment. Investigate options for 3rd party outsourced vendors,
- Conduct onsite and offsite audits to ensure compliance with code and customer specifications.
- Support manufacturing production team by providing information, recommendations, and resolving quality concerns.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, vendors, and office staff to review quality problems and aid in identifying preventative measures to ensure problem-free production.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with welding and/or design of carbon steel, stainless steel, process piping, pressure vessels and AWS code specification.
- Preferred to have Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of ASME Code Section II, V, VIII div I, and IX.
- Proficient in excel, word, power point, and other relevant software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and verify the completeness and accuracy of products.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections review of documentation, visual and dimensional inspection, knowledge on
- Ability to travel 20% for offsite QAQC inspections with vendors.
Desired Experience:
- 2+ years of QAQC supervision experience
- 5+ years of welding experience

Salary: Based on Experience
Must have a valid DL and good driving record.
Must pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year, included 2 bonuses per year
