The client is a leading utility scale developer with a portfolio of operating projects across 10 states and more projects in the development pipeline. The organization is led by renewables veterans with a trajectory of running successful renewables organizations.
They’re looking for a Project Finance Analyst/Associate to report to the Head of Project Finance.
- Support execution of third party capital in the form of construction debt, term debt, tax equity, and/or other specialty finance products
- Maintain ongoing relationships with financing partners and other key project stakeholders
- Run the due diligence process for potential investments and financing transactions
- Design and build standardized modeling procedures coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct financing assumptions are included in the project models
- Assess economic feasibility of project acquisitions and M&A opportunities through financial modelling
- Help with the preparation of quarterly board and investor presentations
- Previous investment banking experience working on project finance transactions highly preferred
- 1 to 4 years of experience working on renewables project finance transactions at a developer
- Bachelor’s degree required (Math/Econ/Finance/Engineering or related studies preferred)
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface with various levels and teams in the organization as well as external parties
