The Role:

As the Project Development Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful execution of wind and solar projects. You’ll be responsible for:

• Identifying prime project opportunities with high-potential wind/solar resources.
• Managing stakeholder relationships, including elected officials, utilities, and regulators.
• Securing land surface rights and navigating permitting processes at all levels.
• Leading negotiations for interconnection agreements and overseeing proposal submissions.
• Collaborating with internal teams to keep projects on time, within budget, and compliant with all regulations.

The Person:

The successful candidate will likely have:

• 5+ years of professional experience proven experience leading utility-scale wind or solar energy projects.
• Strong ability to secure land rights, permits, and build stakeholder relationships.
• Expertise in overseeing project development from greenfield to mid-stage.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills to support project feasibility (preferred but not required).
• Strong communicator who can lead cross-functional teams with clarity and purpose.
