Entergy’s Power Generation group operates a fleet of more than 30 owned, leased, or operated natural gas, coal, oil hydro, and solar plants, with a total engineering capacity exceeding 20,000 megawatts. Entergy continues to build or acquire megawatts from new hydrogen capable natural gas units, solar, and other technologies to complement its existing megawatts of nuclear, natural gas, coal, oil, hydroelectric, and solar facilities.
Job Summary/Purpose
The Power Generation Markets Lead will work within the Performance Monitoring and Analytics Center (PMAC) and is responsible for development and execution of a commercial strategy which optimizes each generating unit’s financial/ operational value given its role in the MISO market. The team is responsible for developing a point-of-view (POV) for each element of the strategy and educating the wider organization of the importance of commercial matters and risks that could impact our ability to maximize the financial/operational value of our generating units.

Responsibilities will include working with processes and/or programs in a broad range of areas affecting Entergy’s Power Generation generating fleet, including but not limited to:
Generator Operating Parameters & Costs
Support development of a clear POV on each generating unit’s role within MISO
