Job Summary

The Performance Measurement Lead will provide analytical and functional support to the Centralized Service H&S Improvement Group supporting the full Utility. The position specifically runs data reports, performs analysis, and uses analysis to identify trends, program gaps and program improvement opportunities. This position also provides technical/analytical expertise and functional support to cross-functional teams, data communications, and continuous improvement projects including motor vehicle prevention technology and job safety observation programs. A Performance Measurement Lead will assess and/or facilitate compliance with key health and safety requirements including the Corporate Health & Safety Protocols and Components, the Utility Health & Safety Manual and other related programs, initiatives and/or Federal, State and local regulations. The position will facilitate cross-functional teams to identify and coordinate implementation of best practices and strategic safety initiatives. The position will provide support for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating implementation efforts for the H&S continuous improvement objectives, as well as the reporting and metrics/measures of those efforts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, measure, and analyze health and safety-related data for reporting and communication. Work with a team to discover trends for continuous improvement.
  • Provides accurate analytical and functional support for the Centralized Service H&S Improvement Group for various improvement projects, safety programs and fleet safety processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
  • Administer and maintain new tools, process and procedures with the Line of Business Safety Teams.
  • Perform data analysis to support H&S improvement for current projects and as needed for Line of Business Safety Teams.
  • Create, maintain and manage key H&S documents, communications and training materials.
  • Create data reporting strategies for multiple safety programs supporting safety improvement, human performance and MVC reduction.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years relevant professional work experience in business analysis or working with large data sets
  • Experience in data mining, query and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to support thoughtful decisions by gathering, transforming, and analyzing data to develop and document conclusions and / or recommendations
  • Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license and maintain a safe driving record. (Occasional travel to Company locations may be required)
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Developed written and interpersonal communications skills

Desired:

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, V-look up, etc.)
