Your Job DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for an O&M Area Safety Manager to join the HSSE team for utility scale solar sites. This role can be based in Scottsdale, AZ or remotely within the U.S. and requires 50-75% travel.

This role does not provide VISA sponsorship.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for visiting and inspecting utility scale solar and battery storage project sites to ensure quality and compliance, while applying our Principle Based Management philosophy
  • Provide exceptional customer service working to become a preferred partner to our customers, subcontractors and vendors.  
  • Perform routine audits of compliance programs for the field services team and O&M facilities
  • Support the planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT)
  • Facilitate the deployment of safety training and protocols for employees operating on utility-scale solar sites.
  • Ensure all employees are educated in and understand our safety culture and site safety expectations.
  • Observe conditions at field job sites to identify and address potential hazards, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate and execute periodic drills at O&M facilities for electric safety protocols

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working independently and remotely
  • Experience in CFR 1910
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time between multiple jobsites across the U.S.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • CHST, or current OSHA 510
  • NFPA70E Training
  • BESS experience
  • Prior experience in electrical
  • Experience in Renewables

For this role, we anticipate paying between $90,000- $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
