This position has a target hiring timeline of Q3 2024. As an armed Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) at Plant Vogtle near Augusta, Georgia you will be part of a well-trained Security Organization charged with ensuring safety of personnel and nuclear reactor systems. The high security environment requires an elevated standard of mental and physical readiness in order to successfully deter and defeat the Design Basis Threat (DBT).
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Summary of Position Duties:
The Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) reports to the Shift Lieutenant and supports daily shift activities which maintain site physical security. The responsibilities of the NSO include the following activities:
