As the Director of specification sales-Ambient products you will be responsible for the growth of Cooper Lighting Solutions specification ambient products from brands, such as Corelite, Neoray and Metalux. The position will require travel throughout North America, to work with a diverse and talented team of sales managers as well as independent manufacturing agents, to educate and motivate them to garner specifications leading to sales of three of the leading linear and ambient brands in the industry.

What youll do
You should have in depth knowledge of lighting applications and products-particularly in general interior lighting.
7+ years of experience related to a specification sales role.
You love the Strategic thinking process to help product development plan for the future.
5+ years of experience managing and/or partnering with local sales representatives (agencies and territory representatives).
Demonstrated strong proficiency in managing and analyzing sales data and other pertinent information.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; Masters degree preferred.

In addition, with a diverse and knowledgeable team of technical sales professionals you will have the opportunity to gain connections and knowledge through outside organizations such as the IES, IALD LIRC, AIA, USGBC and IWBI.
Salary: $138,200 – $200,000
Bonus: Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus
