Summary

Dynamic opportunity for a skilled Multidisciplinary Project Engineer to lead and contribute to cutting-edge renewable energy projects. Drive project success through planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, technical analysis, and adherence to regulatory standards. Engage with clients, ensure quality control, and contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in engineering, project management experience in renewables, interdisciplinary proficiency, and a commitment to innovation.

The position is located in Eden Prairie, MN. Hybrid or remote location considered.

Essential Functions And Responsibilites

  • Take ownership and accountability for the management and oversight of a project throughout its lifecycle, taking an active role in all aspects of the process
  • Coordinate the work scope, prepare and/or maintain overall schedules, deliverables, and budgets on various sized projects
  • Responsible for Contract Negotiation, Change Orders, Project invoicing, Scope Management
  • Manage 4 or more multi-disciplinary projects to complete on- time and on- budget
  • Monitor scope adherence and changes, schedule progress, and budget throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as a liaison with respective discipline’s technical leads to coordinate the schedules and tasks of numerous internal teams, and to gather insight, approvals, and other contributions from stakeholders
  • Responsible for ensuring all EVS and client’s Quality and Standards are followed on project deliverables
  • Provide high-quality consulting to clients
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes
  • Responsible for client satisfaction, coordinate with clients on their expectations and project needs
  • Collaborate with Proposals Manager on project proposals and marketing as an ambassador for the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • A PMP, PE license, or EIT is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of total experience in engineering, power, EPC or heavy construction engineering is required, 4+ years in renewables is preferred
  • Project controls knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of PV system design is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision, including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines
