Job Title: Director of Origination and M&A – Utility-Scale Solar Development
Location: Texas (Remote)
Company Overview: Storm4 represents a Houston-based startup working on the development, financing, and ownership of utility-scale solar and storage projects.
Job Summary: The Director of M&A will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of the utility-scale solar asset portfolio through strategic mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. This position requires extensive experience acquiring and originating utility-scale renewables – ideally in an Independent Power Producer (IPP) environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and Evaluate Opportunities M&A opportunities within the Utility-scale PV and Storage space

Conduct thorough due diligence to establish strategic market fit, financial viability, and risk profile

Jointly lead the Transaction Process: Manage end-to-end M&A processes, including deal sourcing, financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, and closing.

Carry out strategic Analysis & leverage Microsoft Office tools to convey findings and compel leadership
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A, IB, or Origination, with an exclusive focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
