Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to expand the company’s Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating field operations in the Permian Basin. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all required Maintenance is executed with precision, adhering to safety protocols, and meeting the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage the field operations of an expanding fleet of 25 to 100 MW reciprocating Natural Gas Power Plants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership to contractors and field technicians.
• Track and ensure completion of all required preventative maintenance.
• Direct work and coordinate schedules of field technicians and contractors.
• Identify opportunities for additional services or improvements based on client feedback.
• Coordinate all repairs and service for Natural Gas Engines and Site Auxiliaries.
• Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence within the district.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and safety guidelines.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and competition of field projects in the district.
• Ensure compliance with project timeline, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and resource allocation.
• Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Able to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner as well as maintain a clean driving record
• Possess a strong understanding of power generation and oil and gas field operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to field personnel.
• Complete root cause investigations on trips and equipment failures
• Responsible for assisting in Warehouse Manager with inventory management including sourcing parts and services and completing RMAs as required
• Stay on top of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ability to track site performance across different operational parameters

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in power generation or oil and gas field operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of MTU, Jenbacher, or CAT power equipment a plus

Target Comp Range:

$120,000 to 130,000 base salary + bonus, depending on experience
