Job Description

  • Participate in SikaSafe program and comply with all safety standards as outlined by Sikas safety policy
  • Close out Admix delivery meter tickets daily
  • Assist the Manager/Buyer Planner in scheduling, planning and purchasing
  • Coordinate the delivery of raw materials and packaging requirements using MRP functionality to meet production schedules.
  • Review production schedules and estimate requirements to complete production assignments
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on any past due or delayed receipts with the supplier
  • Expedite, reschedule, or cancel material deliveries as dictated by changes in demand
  • Communicate any disruption in the raw material flow to the production team immediately
  • Approve time & attendance of temporary employees and communicate to the agencies.
  • Report daily production numbers to the Plant Manager
  • Perform cycle counts as well as other inventory verifications as required.
  • Manage inter plant stock transfers
  • Assist the shipping department in scheduling trucks as needed
  • Purchase & maintain plant operating supplies.
  • Manage returned products
  • Participate in the sustainability efforts (energy conservation, waste reduction) in the plant
  • Perform all other duties as required by the Plant Manager and Material Manager.

Qualifications

  • Must participate in SikaSafe activities and trainings
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have good math skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience
  • Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
