Designer, River Birch Renewable Energy Solutions
Join one of the largest renewable energy facilities in the country! River Birch Renewable Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Gas Plant Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the implementation of gas system projects. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of gas system design and is familiar with regulatory and safety guidelines. The scope of work could involve projects and facilities totaling up to $50 million, making this an exciting and growth-oriented position within a leading industry.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Layout:
- Design and draft gas system plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Create detailed technical drawings of gas systems, including pipelines, storage tanks, and processing facilities.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk assessments for gas system projects.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction personnel for project implementation.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to integrate gas systems into overall project design.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry safety standards and regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of gas systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Project Management:
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for gas system projects.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of gas system projects.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers for material procurement.
Requirements:
· Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or a related field.
· Plant 3D, Pipe Spec admin ability for plant 3D, Project Setup admin ability.
· Proven experience as a Designer or similar role, preferably in the gas or energy sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software, strong project management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
· 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
· Excellent communicator and team-player.
· Professional, practical, and natural problem-solver.
· Self-starter with a propensity for time management and autonomy.
