Your Impact We’re looking for a Senior ESG Consultant to join our fast-growing, committed, and enthusiastic team. Based in the US or Canada with the option to work remotely, you’ll collaborate within many facets of our business and interact with the full spectrum of staff from the entry level engineers/scientists to the senior business unit leadership. Based out one of our US offices, you’ll support ESG reporting and strategy projects across the globe, providing technical knowledge while helping to grow our business. Working with some of the brightest minds in environmental consulting, you’ll act as a consultant and strategist providing expertise and leadership as a task manage r, project technical consultant, regulatory subject matter expert, or senior QA/QC reviewer on ESG related projects. Through all your work, you’ll champion quality, health, and safety. Clients will see you as their go-to contact, and you’ll define and leadclient overall technical strategy. W e’ll rely on you to oversee and coordinate with our team of ESG specialists, connect with our global technical experts, as well as deliver exceptional results with limited supervision. Along the way, you’ll have the support of a larger national and global communit ies of practice focuse d on sustainability and sustainable infrastructure solutions, as well as the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. Here’s what you’ll need

Primary Job Responsibilities You will work collaboratively across the business providing technical leadership on ESG strategy development and sustainability reporting. Given the breadth of opportunities, typical tasks would include

  • At a strategic level, working with clients to develop sustainability management frameworks, including alignment with standards, and advising on strategies, plans, and net zero and ESG strategies.
  • Guid ing clients in selecting ESG reporting frameworks and delivering high-quality ESG and sustainability reports.
  • Support ing the development of social and equity-focused activities as part of clients’ sustainability journey
  • U nderstand ing technical client needs and provid ing sustainable solutions that are practical and consider the cost- benefit of sustainability initiatives.
  • Presenting complex technical information and interpretations to clients and regulatory stakeholders in a readily understandable manner.
  • A pply ing your businessdevelopment skills as you help to grow our business, working directly with our sales and client account management teams to help innovate and differentiate our service offerings.
  • Preparing proposals including defining technical scopes and estimating level of effort. Here’s What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, basic/applied science (such as physics, chemistry, material science, environmental science, earth sciences, etc.), social science, international development, public health, public policy, political science, resource management, or a similar discipline.
  • 10-12 years of experience in sustainability consulting and project management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ESG reporting (CDP, ISS B, TCFD, GR E SB, GRI)
  • Proven experience training and mentoring staff, including as part of the preparation of quality deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High quality report/proposal writing, and impactfulpresentation of recommendations and conclusions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience with clients in corporate, industrial or local government sectors
  • Proven ability to achieve client goals with a high degree of autonomy Strong stakeholder management, social and networking skills.
  • Capacity to work within teams to solve problems and achieve a high level of quality on project deliverables. You’ll Also Have
  • Master’s degree in sustainability or related field
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven knowledge of community engagement approaches
  • Experience with delivery of projects involving the nexus of sustainable transportation, resilience, decarbonization, and social value

62,900.00

Posted Salary Range Upper

82,575.00

The base salary range for this position is $62,900.00 to $82,575.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
