The Environmental Coordinator, Project Delivery supports the EHS Global Functional Organization in ensuring environmental compliance and best-in-industry environmental performance for Air Product’s America’s and Global capital projects portfolio. The position will coordinate with Americas and Corporate Environmental groups to ensure environmental work processes and strategies are established and implemented on capital projects. Work processes will include, but are not limited to, identifying, and mitigating/eliminating environmental risks, compliance with environmental permit/regulatory/corporate requirements, defining/driving timelines for certain environmental activities, including utilization of internal/external resources, to avoid project schedule impacts and the development and implementation of construction environmental management plans. The project execution scope will span opportunity development through commissioning and start-up. This position will, with support from Americas and Corporate Environmental groups, interface, provide guidance and influence multiple project disciplines including project and construction management. There will be an emphasis on supporting development and facilitating integration/implementation of various environmental/permitting work processes into applicable systems and processes utilized by the EHS Global Functional Organization to drive effectiveness and utilization aimed at achieving total environmental compliance during project execution.
