The Electric Vehicle Program Strategist Sr/Consultant on the Product Development & Strategy team is responsible for the creation and implementation of key electric transportation strategies and programs. This individual will research electric vehicle (EV) market trends, inform Customer to Grid Solutions (C2GS) strategic EV objectives, and develop proposals for customer-centric EV programs. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with teams within the organization on the oversight and management of these programs to ensure successful implementation and performance.

Senior Analyst
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience in the technology, power and/or natural gas sectors with an understanding of regulatory, technical and business issues impacting the industry.
In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, High School/GED plus 9 years directly related experience in the technology, power and/or natural gas sectors with an understanding of regulatory, technical and business issues impacting the industry including renewables, distributed energy and grid technologies.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of one or more emerging energy technologies and related business models, such as solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, energy management software platforms etc.
Experience collecting and analyzing data of medium to high complexity with multiple correlations and variables.
Consultant
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology or related field and 8 years of prior relevant experience in the power and natural gas sectors with an understanding of regulatory, technical and business issues impacting the industry including renewables, distributed energy and grid technologies.
In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, High School/GED plus 12 years directly related experience in the power and natural gas sectors with an understanding of regulatory, technical and business issues impacting the industry including renewables, distributed energy and grid technologies.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of one or more emerging energy technologies and related business models, such as solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, energy management software platforms etc.
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:

CIP Requirement:
This position requires Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) access consistent with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards. The applicant considered for this role will be required to obtain and maintain CIP access for the duration of employment in this position. A full seven (7) year criminal history will be obtained through the pre-employment background check process (or, for current employees, through supplemental background check process) to fulfill the CIP access requirements. In addition, this position requires an additional background check every seven years to maintain access.
Flex Role:
This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work, but the ultimate decision is the company’s.
