Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure and Solutions Lead to fill this role. The candidate needs to have experience in developing or facilitating EV infrastructure programs, workplace charging programs and other various electrification efforts within the sustainability space. This person will implement EV infrastructure and charging programs, while also supporting work with utility partners, cities, governments, and other e-mobility clients. The individual in this role will also provide leadership and subject matter expertise for EVNoire’s national charging/infrastructure initiatives and play a key leadership role in ensuring that business owners in the general market along with under-represented communities are equipped to consider and implement sustainability programs. This candidate will also be in charge of liaising with key partners and clients such as employers communities and rideshare partners considering charging infrastructure. , providing guidance and education on its benefits, providing technical knowledge and expertise around EV infrastructure, charging benefits and specifications, and planning and implementing educational & outreach events, conferences, and rallies within the sustainability space.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the subject-matter-expert on workplace, residential, medium/heavy duty, DC Fast Charging infrastructure, rideshare and EV charging infrastructure programs and other sustainability implementation projects that benefit employers, employees, and communities – especially in underrepresented or underresourced communities
  • Act as the primary point of contact between employers considering workplace charging programs and EVNoire/other project partners
  • Carry out sustainability and electrification programmatic initiatives tracking related KPI’s, milestones, etc.
  • Manage coordination between internal project teams and external employers and employees considering workplace charging programs
  • Lead and support the continuous improvement of internal processes related to program implementation and progress tracking
  • Meet/exceed project deadlines and requirements and manage program timelines
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress; reporting to clients and partners on progress on key indicators. Identify issue areas and develop plans to address/ mitigate them.
  • Interface with clients to identify charging plans, needs, and benefits and make recommendations on paths forward to get detailed infrastructure programs in place
  • Manage employer contact database, keep updated with latest progress and communications
  • Develop materials and talking points for presentations, and present them, to employers and employees on the benefits of workplace or other charging options and other sustainability programs with communities at-large
  • Liaisewith local public officials and key stakeholders to increase political and community support for workplace and community charging programs
  • Plan and implement workplace and community charging rallies, conferences, webinars, and events in target regions focused on underserved communities
  • Work closely with partners in community fleets, rideshare, airport, AV and aviation sectors
  • Other related duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Skills and Abilities

  • 3-5 years proven work experience in the EV Charging Infrastructure sector
  • 1-2 years of people management skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge related to EV charging programs, charging hardware, infrastructure, and energy management
  • Experience planning and facilitating outreach/education e.g. ride and drives, webinars, in person EV information programs, or experience facilitating rebate and incentive programs
  • Experience developing or implementing EV Charging Programs, workplace charging experience a plus
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills
  • Problem-solver and able to use critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
  • Utility and energy management experience is ideal
  • Experience in developing content for publication such as education information, programs, and events around charging infrastructure or EV decarbonization efforts
  • Experience interacting with businesses of various sizes and their staff
  • Comfort public speaking and presenting new information in a comprehensible and exciting manner
  • A proven ability to manage and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision, ideally in a remote working environment
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects and tasks successfully
  • Passion for seeking equity and justice, and appreciation for how e-mobility intersects with issues of equity, diversity and justice
  • Ability and willingness to travel (25-30%) – travel is required to attend client meetings, conferences, facilitate trainings/presentation and/or execute events
  • Must have stable, high-speed Internet access

Location:This is a remote role with candidate preferably based in metro Atlanta or preferably on the east coast of the continental U.S; candidates should be based within 40 miles of a major airport.
