Director of Development – Solar Developer (Remote)

One of our key clients is an innovative, scaling Energy Storage company focused on the C&I sector.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Development, you will oversee the entire development process of solar projects, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. This role demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in solar project development, a commitment to sustainability, and a proven track record in managing complex projects. You will collaborate with the executive team to define development goals, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project development strategy.
• Manage the entire project development lifecycle, from site identification to construction.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Form strategic partnerships with key industry players and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in project development roles, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven success in managing and delivering solar projects with a focus on sustainability.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
