We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Capital Markets to join a leading renewable energy investment firm. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial strategy for an expanding portfolio of clean energy projects, including solar and energy storage assets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in capital markets, particularly in structuring and securing tax equity, construction debt, and term debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the capital markets strategy, focusing on financing for a diverse range of renewable energy projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key financial partners, including banks, institutional investors, and other capital providers.
  • Structure and negotiate complex financial agreements, including tax equity investments, construction financing, and permanent debt facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align capital strategies with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for financing and investment.
  • Drive the execution of financial transactions, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in capital markets, with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure financing.
  • Strong understanding of tax equity, debt financing, and capital structuring.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with financial institutions and investors.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute complex financial transactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
