What to Expect
Tesla Energy seeks to overhaul our digital customer experience. This role will guide the data driven development and re-deployment of energy pages and recommend site updates based on feedback from campaign teams.

This role will collaborate with content, demand generation, marketing, web development, software, and executive teams to optimize the Web and Digital Customer Experience for Tesla Energy.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, web UI/UX, web traffic data, web marketing channels, first through third party data activation, and data analysis. The Digital Platforms Analyst at Tesla supports campaign planning, SEO and content testing, site optimization, paid campaign performance, and data activation

What Youll Do

  • Own the digital customer acquisition funnel for Tesla Energy
  • Recommend improvements and A/B tests on Tesla Energys digital customer experience and user experience based on your analysis of web traffic data
  • Combine marketing channel data with CRM analysis to provide audience sizing and attribute recommendations.
  • Recommend new marketing initiatives given outcomes of experiments and data analysis
  • Design, deploy, and analyze testing initiatives in the web and across digital marketing channels
  • Monitor new page health and performance through the Tesla energy ecosystem
  • Provide ad hoc reporting, insights, and recommendations to management for paid and earned digital media

What Youll Bring

  • 2-4 years’ experience working in web analytics, digital marketing analytics, digital data science, or related field
  • Ability to design, deploy and manage A/B tests for paid and organic channels, website UI/UX changes, and digital campaigns and determine effectiveness and using built-in web app tools (on Google Ads) or basic statistical tools (EG: significance tests, linear regression, basic time series analysis)
  • Depth in pulling and blending data from Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Google Ads within a BI tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Ability to write custom, efficient, SQL against large data stores. Bonus: Experience using Big Query
  • Ability to manage and deploy site tagging for conversion activity tracking using JavaScript/HTML + Tealium/Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with UX design or Design Thinking best practices (in web)
  • Experience working with data taxonomy in a data management platform (DMP) / customer data plat form (CDP / CRM) – (EG; Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce others)
