Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Decarbonization Consultant.

As a Decarbonization Consultant, you’re a great fit if you can…

• Energetically develop cross-functional business processes and strategies to achieve workable customer solutions in line with our Decarbonization practice
• Building and refining scalable processes/protocols that help clients decarbonize their operations
• Experienced writer developing technical components of government decarbonization programs
• Conceptual understanding of decarbonization technologies, how they work, and the barriers and opportunities to their implementation.
• Resiliently tackling problems without a clear or straight forward answer
• Tackle difficult decarbonization problems for clients which may include greenhouse gas inventories, energy auditing, engineering, climate resiliency, and other modeling/implementation related problems
• Collaborating with business development, engineering, design-build, and fellow carbon team members to win new work and support clients

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• 3+ years of progressive energy or sustainability experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• An innovative mindset which feverishly supports a rapidly growing business while obsessing about the details that ensure its survival
• A demonstrated affinity for data and the important role its application plays in success
• Deep understanding of energy systems and how energy is used and generated
• The relentless desire to continue to learn and grow professionally
• Undergraduate or master’s degree in energy systems, environmental economics, sustainability science, climate change, energy policy, environmental science or policy or similar degree.
• Experience estimating and/or understanding greenhouse gas emissions
• Experience with public-sector or government decarbonization programs.

Compensation Range

$81,400.00 – $122,000.00
