My client is seeking a Manager of Capital Markets with 4-8 years of renewable energy experience in project finance, capital markets and/or structured finance. Please see the job description below:
- Lead team responsible for developing and maintaining project-level and corporate-level financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to assess the impact of various factors on the company’s financial performance
- Analyze, model and summarize economic profile of assigned portfolio of assets from greenfield to transaction stage
- Take a leadership role in coordinating with the development, engineering, and interconnection teams to compile and confirm project inputs and assumptions
- Prepare summaries for and lead project economics review with management and cross-functional teams
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to aid in decision making process for Development, Engineering, Origination and Transaction teams
- Support and drive initiatives to streamline and improve the company’s financial models and stay abreast of tax, capital markets, and industry trends
- Collaborate with functional teams to create budgets for each project and prepare reporting for lead developers, management, and investors to track spend and performance versus budget/forecast
- Lead the preparation and execution of capital raise activities, including fundraising pitches, presentations, and due diligence processes
- Engage with potential investors, lenders, and consultants to build and maintain strong relationships and solicit feedback on any changes to modeling inputs
- Manage letters of credit (LC) and surety bond facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Optimize LC structures to minimize costs and enhance financial efficiency
- Mentoring and developing junior team members – both within Finance and across the broader organization
