All About You:
This position will support the customer service, planning, and logistics portion of the supply chain. The intent of the position is to support Jacksonville site with indirect purchases, to act as a bridge between planning and purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed, to support both tactical and strategic logistics, and to track associated KPIs. This position will require the ability to multi-task, communicate efficiently and effectively, and a general understanding of multiple facets of supply chain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years purchasing related experiences in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all non-production related purchases from order conception to invoice payment to supplier
- Conduct ccommercial negotiations with suppliers
- Assist in establishing overall logistics strategy
- Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing currenth methodology and processes
- Resolve defective or unacceptable goods or services through RC/CA means with quality, end user, and suppliers
- Support of supply chain program initiatives
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation
- Work closely with all related departments to assure the coordinatino of purchasing related tasks
- Overnership of special analytical projects assigned by the Supply Chain Manager
