About the role

What to expect?

As a Business Development, your primary role is to qualify and proactively seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing long-term relationships with potential new customers. This includes focusing on understanding and meeting our customers’ needs to drive business growth.

This position’s preferred location will be Austin, TX. Other locations will be considered.

What You ll Do

  • Manage the sales pipeline/order intake for your accounts and region
  • Identify potential customers, clearly explain technical features of GPM solutions, and demonstrate offering, including advanced analytics in detail
  • Translate clients’ requests into clearly understood needs, identify the technical requirements to fulfill those needs, and create the resulting proposals
  • Develop regional market development plan and annual sales targets
  • Accountable for bid-no-bid decisions, autonomous working conditions
  • Ongoing Product, Market, and Process feedback is expected to ensure the most efficient and effective working environment

About you

What Is Required

  • To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have
    • Minimum bachelor s degree in one of the following fields: Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Renewables, Management information systems, Computer science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Administration
    • A minimum of three years of experience in a sales role within the renewables energy industry, with a proven track record on the entire sales lifecycle
    • Ability to build and maintain a strong network of both external and internal relationships and utilize it to achieve GPM objectives
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment while delivering high-quality work
    • Exceptional commercial awareness, results orientated and proven business development ability
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to communicate with customers
  • You are proactive, curious, and empathic
  • You take a customer-centric approach to understanding our client’s needs and addressing them accordingly
  • You show enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a willingness to take on challenges and responsibilities
  • Moreover, your confidence shines through as you articulate and present ideas persuasively in customer meetings with senior management
