The Arts Outreach and Engagement Coordinator is a liaison between the Division of the Arts and communities on and off campus. This position coordinates key outreach and engagement programs and builds an infrastructure of positive connections that support strong relationships with campus partners and with the local creative industry and community.
The Division of the Arts is an administrative unit that reports to the Provost’s Office. Led by a faculty director, the Division of the Arts advocates for, connects and elevates the arts at UW-Madison. We support and promote the missions of the academic arts departments and affiliated partners, foster interdisciplinary collaborations, deepen the student experience, build community engagement, and advocate for inclusion, diversity, equity, and access across the arts.
Organizes the development and delivery of outreach programs, including the responsibility for staffing. Assists with policy development and organizes resources to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences.
