Job Summary:
The Multifamily Residential team requires a new Project Manager role to oversee application and systems development for the Multifamily Residential team's new processes for intaking future projects.
Job tasks include:
- Support the continuous improvement of existing programs in the multifamily sector
- Managing projects from initiation to completion; including scope, schedule and budgets
- Manage and develop relationships & increase coordination with key stakeholders
- Manage contractors and program support agreements
- Resolve issues which may arise regarding assigned projects with applicants or consultants
- Support the development of PONs and RFPs
- Participate in a process to test, measure and adjust to maximize success
- Advanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development
- Participate in the evaluation of program effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned to support the key outcomes for the Multifamily Team
Required skills include:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, or related field
- Preferred: previous experience as a Project Manager or certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP) and CEM or CEA
- 3-6 years of experience of relevant project management experience
- Strong project management skills and the ability to successfully multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Manage scope, schedule and budget of project agreements and other program support agreements
- Support strategic market engagement and partnership development
- Facilitate and execute continuous improvement of program rules, and business processes
- Outstanding external and customer communications (written and verbal) skills
- Coordinate with other departments to support projects and development or refinement of strategies and processes
- Must be a self-starter and function well independently and in teams
- Ability to synthesize information, including stakeholder feedback, white paper research, policy documents, etc.
- Ability to develop clear and compelling presentations
- Program implementation experience, especially for programs that require installation/construction of clean energy technology OR for programs that provide technical assistance for clean energy projects
- Some knowledge of energy consuming systems commonly found in multifamily buildings, including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technologies, lighting and building envelope
- Some knowledge of energy conservation measures in deep retrofit energy efficiency projects for existing multifamily buildings (e.g. Passive House, heat pumps, etc.)
Compensation:
This is a full-time position as a Salas OBrien employee working remotely. Benefits include a health insurance plan, a 401K profit sharing plan, and PTO. The position offers competitive compensation with an anticipated annual salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, based on candidate experience.
