Job Description

Responsibilities: - Install solar panels on roofs or other structures according to project specifications - Use hand and power tools to assemble, install, and secure solar panel systems - Connect solar panels to electrical components and wiring systems - Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely - Adhere to safety protocols and follow industry standards and regulations
Experience: - Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred - Familiarity with electrical systems and components - Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices related to solar installations - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for solar installations - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Skills: - Forklift operation for moving materials as needed - Commercial electrician experience for electrical connections - Roofing experience for proper installation on various types of roofs - Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for compliance with electrical standards - Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers - Ability to use power tools such as drills, saws, and impact drivers for installation purposes
