What You Can Expect
The internship work term will be from January 2025 May 2025, full-time work schedule working up to 40 hours per week.
As a Differentiated Gas Analyst Intern, you will be a motivated, inquisitive and willing resource to the Gas Origination commercial team to learn own, broaden and provide modelling, analytical, insightful and contextual input into Responsibly Sourced Gas (RSG), Morecambe North and South gas fields (MNZ) and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) opportunities that support the spirit of being commercially nimble and creative within the risk and control framework.
- With a sense of urgency, you independently provide insightful information on commercial opportunities based on macro and micro market trends, current news and relevant / reliable sources
- Acting as an owner of the business, you research specific assigned tasks within the renewable markets and provide insight to minimize risk and/or enhance commercial economics
- With an entrepreneurial mindset, you take ownership and research probable opportunities that will add to the commercial pipeline
- Thinking federally, you reach out and work with personnel across ENGIE to optimize ways of working to be inclusive and adding maximum value to ENGIE as a whole
What Youll Bring
- Studies in Finance, Economics, or any related field in which you are working towards a Bachelors degree in a related subject and have gained an understanding of basic finance and economics principles
- Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher & be able to work up to 40 hours per week
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
- Creative, resourceful and proficient in excel and powerpoint
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
Additional Details
- This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
- Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $21.00 - $34.00 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
