Position Overview:
SunVest’s subsidiary is responsible for providing engineering, procurement, and construction services to customers. As the Managing Director based in the subsidiaries’ HQ, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other team members to perform high-level coordination, project management, and handle operational logistics.
Responsibilities:
- High-level coordination between solar developers and subcontractors
- Process work orders and direct internal work crews
- Interface with worker pool to ensure crews are effectively staffed for project needs
- Manage procurement and inventory of solar modules, racking and associated equipment
- Receive developer invoices and manage accounts payable
- Process payroll and benefits materials for internal staff
- Submit applications under various regulatory programs and process applications as they move through the system
- Submit relevant reports to various regulatory bodies on a quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar energy, construction, electrical contracting or related fields.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep passion for the renewable energy sector and a principled approach to fostering sustainable solutions.
- Familiarity with common accounting procedures
