Job Overview Nikkiso Fueling & Solutions (NFS) is a leading designer, manufacturer, and builder of LNG, CNG, and related systems. Applications include fueling stations, trailer loading, ship loading, peak shaving, power generation, and virtual pipelines. NFS is looking for a General Manager who will lead the operational activities of the NFS Escondido operations. The General Manager will be based in Escondido area and is part of a matrix organization structure reporting to the President of NFS and will also support other Nikkiso functional units. Salary: $118,605 - $238,744 per Year Responsibilities <ul>
<li>Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and service activities including personnel, quality, safety, cost, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, planning, and business controls.</li>
<li>Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.</li>
<li>Responsible for P+L, budget, and achievement of established financials and performance targets.</li>
<li>Provides site leadership through effective communication, coaching, and accountability.</li>
<li>Ensures continuous improvement and swift problem resolution in an open, fair, and unselfish manner.</li>
<li>Manages material requirements to increase inventory turnover and reduce stock/inventory levels on hand.</li>
<li>Implementation of systems and structure for continuous 2C5+ cost cutting measures, an initiative to cut costs by 5% every 2 years.</li>
<li>Utilize the ERP system and optimize the system to provide KPI’s and metrics for operational management and improvement. Support the implementation of group wide role out of new ERP system.</li>
<li>Determines labor needs to meet production goals and responsible for appropriate staffing levels for each functional unit at the facility.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with state & federal regulations and Nikkiso CEIG policies.</li>
<li>Identifies and secures capital investments needed for growth and improvement projects following CEIG investment application format.</li>
<li>Works cooperatively in a matrix structure with the local Nikkiso CEIG VP’s/GM’s as applicable.</li>
<li>Collaborates with related managers at other group global manufacturing facilities.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Cooperates with other Nikkiso CEIG Group General managers to follow the group Mission and Vision 
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications <ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.</li>
<li>10+ years of manufacturing experience and leadership</li>
<li>5+ years of experience with cryogenic and high pressure system manufacturing preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent managerial and supervisory skills</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of operations and production management</li>
<li>Ability to interpret and work with financial data as needed to set and improve production goals and P+L outcome.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong ability to problem solve and analyze situations</li>
<li>Proven leadership experience</li>
<li>Orientated to a teamwork mindset, and experience working with different personality types.</li>
<li>Excellent project management experience with a history of results</li>
<li>Proficient communication skills, verbally and electronically</li>
<li>Experience with performance management</li>
<li>Technical capacity with related equipment and manufacturing processes 
</li>
