Want to join something GREAT and make a difference?The Washington Geological Survey, part of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), is seeking a Reservoir Characterization Geologist to join a talented team that conducts research on earth resources across Washington State, including carbon sequestration, geothermal resources, and groundwater hydrogeology. DNRs mission is to manage, sustain, and protect the health and productivity of Washington's lands and waters to meet the needs of present and future generations. Your role in this mission will be to develop and lead projects that will identify, investigate, map, and report on potential subsurface reservoirs for carbon mineralization and clean energy storage.
