 Job Summary
 The position reports to the Quality Supervisor. Initially, this position will perform analytical testing to support the plant's quality system. The role will work on the shift in a 24/7 operation. The daily routine will require the Quality Technician to be on their feet nearly 100%, including walking, standing, reaching, lifting, stooping, or bending. The technician will work closely with production teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout manufacturing.
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 <ul>
 <li>Conduct standardization and calibration of lab equipment, document results, and identify issues</li>
 <li>Perform analytical testing of materials and product in compliance with work instructions</li>
 <li>Document test results</li>
 <li>Review test results to ensure compliance and to identify short-term trends that require attention.</li>
 <li>Communicate test results to operators</li>
 <li>Identify and segregate non-conforming product</li>
 <li>Prepare reports as needed.</li>
 <li>Participate in internal audits</li>
 <li>On a daily basis, assess quality performance issues, engage the required resources, and participate in corrective/preventive action</li>
 <li>Assist Quality Engineers as needed</li>
 <li>Engage daily with operators and technicians to identify opportunities and to drive improvement</li>
 <li>Actively monitor compliance with the Quality System, and engage in correcting non-compliances</li>
 <li>Provide hands-on assistance to the Operations function in their daily activity</li>
 </ul>
 Qualifications and/or Experience
 <ul>
 <li>High school diploma or GED</li>
 <li>Previous experience in a quality related role</li>
 <li>Must be comfortable with working in an environment requiring: safety gasses, safety shoes, and other job specific PPE</li>
 <li>Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions and documentation</li>
 <li>Must be able to use computer-based work tools</li>
 <li>May be required to lift containers weighing up to 30 lbs</li>
 <li>The daily routine will require the Quality Technician to be on their feet nearly 100%, including walking, standing, reaching, lifting, stooping, or bending</li>
 <li>Judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills</li>
 <li>Interpersonal skills, with willingness to constructively address issues</li>
